Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike continues its fantastic run and has created history at the box-office.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri, which pays a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Army has already crossed the 100-crore mark, is marching towards the 200-crore target quite effortlessly.
Based on the 2016 Uri attack, the film earned Rs 189.76 cr in its 24-day of release by outperforming lifetime collection of 3 of major Indian grossers of all time – the Ranveer Singh-starrer Bajirao Mastani (Rs 184.20 crore), the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Rs 188.57 crore) and the Hindi version of the Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0 (Rs 189.55 crore).
“Uri: The Surgical Strike” was released on January 11 and entered Rs 100-cr club within just 10 days of its release. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Rajit Kapur and Mohit Raina in important roles, among others.
