The Union Minister of States KJ Alphons posted a controversial selfie with the martyr Vasanth kumar’s coffin and posted it in social media.When people all across the country trolled him for his shameful post,he removed it.
‘Good bye Martyr Vasanthakumar. We are alive because of you” – Kannanthanam tweeted with the selfie.
“The cremation of Vasantha Kumar, who attained martyrdom at Pulwama in Kashmir held at his home. It is because of the sacrifice of people like Vasantha Kumar that we are able to live a safe life,” he posted on Facebook along with the selfie.
This incident however,lead to the social media ire.

The Minister of State for Tourism had earlier courted controversy by posting a picture of sleeping on a bed sheet in a relief camp, when the state was reeling under the devastation caused by the floods in August last year.
