US President Donald Trump on Friday agreed to re-open the US Federal Government, after five week long shut down on quarrels regarding US-Mexico border wall.
“We have reached a deal to end the shutdown and reopen the federal government,” Trump said. “In a short while, I will sign a bill to open our government for three weeks, until February 15.”
Trump agreed with the Democrats to reopen the Federal government but haven’t made any firm announcement regarding his demand for $5.7 billion to fund the border wall , a key campaign promise to his right-wing base.
The government was stuck for 35 days since the shutdown, and now the temporary re-opening will be a relief for everyone.
