A trainer aircraft has crashed near Indapur in Maharashtra’s Pune district. The aircraft belongs of Carver Aviation, an institute that trains pilots. The pilot was injured in the crash but has survived.He has been rushed to a local hospital in Baramati.
Preliminary reports suggest that the aircraft crashed due some failure in its engine. It was forced to make an emergency landing. Photos from the accident spot show that the aircraft’s nose was badly damaged.
The reason behind the crash is yet to be known.
This incident comes only days after An Indian Air Force’s Jaguar fighter plane crashed in Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, the aircraft was on a routine sortie from Gorakhpur Air Force station. The pilot manged to eject safely with a help of a parachute, but the plane was reduced to rubbles.
