The Indian writer of British descent,Ruskin Bond’s ghost stories will soon be visualised in web series named-“Parchayee-Ghost stories by Ruskin Bond”. The series will telecast 12 stories of Ruskin Bond and is for an over-the-top (OTT) platform ZEE5.
“Whenever I run out of people to write about, I cook up a few ghosts or they appear before me. I am happy that my stories are coming alive for the first time on a digital platform and I look forward to watching them. I hope my readers will enjoy the series,” Bond said in a statement.
The premiere will be out on January 15.The series will be pictured in several episodes and expected to run up to July this year.Bond’s supernatural fiction love, thus again gets a visual treat. The author always said that he visualise the things before he write, and then from the running picture he give them words.
The series was produced by, Banijay Asia and Opus Communication. having two of his stories in it, “The Ghost in the Garden and The Wind on Haunted Hill” and “Wilson’s Bridge and The Overcoat” having two directors, VK Prakash and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury respectively.
