Skyrocketing petrol, diesel rates: Mobile wallets offers cashbacks to ease the burden
Are you planning to pay for fuel through wallets? Even as fuel prices across the country continue to touch new record high levels, cashbacks and offers from mobile wallets and credit cards can help the common public to ease the burden to some extent.
As of now mobile wallets like Paytm, FreeCharge, Mobikwik are offering attractive cashbacks for fuel spends made to petrol bunks which customers can use for other bill payments.
Digital wallet company Paytm has promised a cashback of up to Rs 7,500 on fuel purchases. The offer is valid till August next year and the offer is only available on select fuel stations. At the pump where the offer is available, the user will have to make the payment of the fuel using Paytm. The transaction value should be a minimum of Rs 50
In Mobikwik, for a minimum transaction of Rs 50, you could get 25% ‘SuperCash’, once a month. The maximum superCash is capped at Rs 200. Max SuperCash which can be used in a transaction is Rs 250. This offer is valid from 1st September 2018 till 31st December 2018. To avail the offer, you will have to scan the QR code at the fuel station and enter the amount to pay.
FreeCharge users can avail cashback of Rs 50, on a FreeCharge transaction of Rs 499 at HP petrol pumps. The cashback will be functional within seventy-two hours from the date of the transaction which can be redeemed on the company’s website or app or any other merchant website wherein Freecharge Balance is acceptable. The offer is valid only once up to 30 September 2018.
