Playback singer Sithara Krishnakumar, who won this year’s State Award for the best female singer met with an accident on Friday in Thrissur.
The car Sithara was driving hit a telephone post after losing control from the road. No casualties are reported, though the car she was driving was damaged.
After the accident, the singer herself posted on Facebook about the accident. Sithara, however, expressed her annoyance over people who took photographs of her damaged car, spreading fear for her safety.
“Thanks to those who have taken an effort to capture the picture from the worst possible angle, so that it looks horrible! And thanks to all friends from online media for not making a call and for not asking if am alive or not,” the singer wrote on her official Facebook page.
