The SC development corporation has set an model by helping the sc people who was affected by flood. The corporation has extended helping hands by cleaning houses and schools. As part of the cleaning drive in the initiative of corporation they have cleaned 15 schedule caste colonies and 10 offices in Ernakulam district.
In the attempt to regain the schools and houses that was damaged by flood they have cleaned 2 Colonies and 2 institutions in alappuzha district. A colony having around 400 houses and pandalam ITI was also has been cleaned. In Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha Districts director of SC Development Ali Asgar Pasha IAS lead the drive.
Cleaning Drive in Pandalam ITI was lead by Naveen Balan minister AK Balan’s son. For getting the monetary benefits for flood affectees, to show caste certificate from the people’s representatives can be used said the director Ali Asgar Pasha. 5000 rupees can be collected from block officers of SC Development by giving this certificate
