Sachin’s son Arjun Tendulkar hits with Nepotism controversy

Arjun Tendulkar son of Sachin Tendulkar into raw. He marked his presence at team India’s net session on Monday when the ‘Men in Blue’ were preparing for the two T20Is against Ireland. The 18-year-old pacer bowled to the Indian batsmen, including skipper Virat Kohli, who was also seen doing knocking practice at the other side of the field. This was team India’s first practice session since landing in the UK for the two and a half months tour.
Indian players were sweating it out at a school in London and were joined by Arjun Tendulkar as well. He got a special piece of advice from Ravi Shastri, as revealed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In a tweet, the BCCI shared a picture of Ravi Shastri, team India’s head coach, delivering words of wisdom to Arjun.

The idea to bowl Arjun at team India’s nets, though, did not go down well with Twitterati as they questioned BCCI for allowing Arjun bowl to the Indian players. Few people also took a dig at BCCI for the photo in which Shastri can be seen delivering words of wisdom to Arjun
Arjun is presently part of the India U-19 four-day squad and will travel to Sri Lanka with the junior team next month. He will be spearheading the pace attack of team India. The left-arm pacer will soon be returning to back to the country to take part in the practice camp before the U-19 team flies to Sri Lanka.
The India U-19 tour of Sri Lanka comprises of two four-day and five one-day games. Arjun will return to India after the completion of four-day games as he is not a part of the team in the one-day format.
