The Meteorological Centre has issued an alert on heavy rainfall that it will continue in Kerala till Friday. It is forecasted that heavy rain and thunderstorm will occur in the state.
MAs bad weather condition continues in the state, Government has issued an alert against heavy rainfall till May 13. Rainfall is reported across Kerala during the last days. As per the records as of now state has received 31 percent more summer rain.
“Districts except Thiruvananthapuram and Alappuzha received heavy summer rain. Northern districts of Kerala received more rain compared to other parts. So there is no chance for drought this year,” said MeT centre director K Santhosh.
The high temperature level has decreased in the state following the rain.Temperature is below average for last few days in many of the districts.
