MLA P C George and his party Janapaksham (Secular) on Wednesday joined the NDA.
Along with Janapaksham, Democratic Labour Party and Kamaraj Congress of Vishnupuram Chandrasekharan also joined the front, announced BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai.
The parties have influence in Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram constituencies and NDA will win both the seats.
Interestingly, Pillai forgot the name of DLP while announcing its entry.
George, who represents Poonjar constituency, is a former UDF chief whip. He had tried for re-entry to the front. However, Congress rejected the proposal.
George has earlier co-operated with BJP MLA O Rajagopal in the Assembly during the Sabarimala controversy.
BJP national secretary Sthyakumar said NDA will provide a stable government in future along with BDJS, Janapaksham, DLP, Kamaraj Congress, JD(U), AIADMK and Shiv Sena.
