The Kerala police have assured to take strong action against the Hindurashtra worker, a fringe element of Sangh Parivar, who abused the 15-days-old kid who was brought to Ernakulam from Mangalapuram for a heart operation.
While the child being shifted and the entire state cleared the roads for the ambulance on Tuesday, Binil Somasundaram of Kadavoor, Ernakulam, said that the kid is born to ‘Jihadis’ (Muslims) and hence the state will bear the medical expenses.
Advocate Sreejith Perumana, who filed a complaint against Somasundaram, on his Facebook post said that the CMO also has directed the police to take necessary action.
Meanwhile, Somasundaram claimed that his Facebook account was hacked. However, when social media users dug out his tweet in which he used the same text, he said he was under the influence of liquor. It has to be noted that he was at Sabarimala temple when he posted the controversial comment. On April 15, he shared a photo with this caption: “On the Vishu morning, we are at Sabarimala with a mission to protect the custom, Swami Saranam.” He has been camping at the hill temple since April 10 to create issues during the election season.
