Breaking the silence on attacks reported on Kashmiris,PM Narendra Modi on Saturday disapproved of the attacks on Kashmiris in some parts of the country in the aftermath of Pulwama attack and underlinesd that”our fight is for Kashmir, not against Kashmiris”.
Addressing a rally in Tonk in Rajastan, he also declared that Pakistan will be made to account for the ‘terror factory’ there.
He also said Pakistan PM Imran Khan had promised to end hostility with India “it is time to see whether he lives up to his word”. He also asserted that the ‘enemies of humanity must be taught a lesson”
“I appeal to nation, our fight is against terrorism and enemies of humanity only.Even if there is a single incident,it strengthens those propagating ‘bharat there tukde honge’.I am sure none of my countrymen will support such elements.”
Modi also remind that there are many Kashmiris who shed their blood for the nation and those local Kashmiris who helped those who got injured in the terror attack on Amarnath pilgrimage.”Kashmiri Muslims queued up to give blood for the injured pilgrims to save their lives,”he said.
He also asserted that action has also been taken against seperatists in Kashmir and further action will be taken against them.
“This is different India. We don’t sit quietly suffering the pain. This is an India with new policy and new intent,”the PM said.
Referring to Pakistan,Modi recalled that whenImran Khan’s government was formed last year,he had called up the new PM as demanded by the protocol and Imran Khan said”I am Pathan’s son and I speak the truth and implement it,”.
Now,it is the time to implement it ,Modi said,”It is the time to see whether the PM of Pakistan lives up to his word.”
Modi’s remarks about Pakistan and Pak PM came after three days when Pakistan PM said actions will be taken if “actionable intelligence”is provided about links to Pulwama attack in his country.
