Indian Medical Association has announced one month free treatment for the flood victims in the state at those including private hospitals. IMA conducted discussions with chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and decided to conduct one month long free medical camps in the state. The participation of more doctors will be ensured in the camp and free medicines will be distributed.
The camp will also have services of psychiatrists for those are mentally affected by flood.
IMA officials also extended their help for reconstruction of the hospitals in the state that were destroyed during the flood in association with IMA national chapter.
They also informed chief minister that the hospital waste formed at the medical camps will be scientifically processed through IMA’s Image project.
