“Once you join BJP all your crimes are cleansed,” said former AICC spokesperson Tom Vadakkan almost a month ago he himself jumped the ship.
Vadakkan made this comment while retweeting journalist Nighil Wagles comment on former Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy. Wagle said that Roy defected to BJP to get away with the Saradha chit fund scam. CBI did not name Roy in the charge sheet.
All it took for Vadakkan was just 38 days to swallow what he said.
“Sir… At least delete the tweets before you hop parties,” one user responded.
Vadakkan, while joining BJP said that Congress’ handling of the Pulwama airstrike pained him.
However, a quick look at his Twitter profile tells us that he endorsed the stand of Congress party on Pulwama on all these days.
“People of Uttar Pradesh beware of Jhoota’s of the BJP MLA’s & MP’s multi purpose use. BJP’s Jhoota surgical strike on BJP,” he wrote on March 7.
He also retweeted Sid (@sidmtweets), which reads:
“It was Arun Jaitley who told journos off record that 350 terrorists were killed
Given Jaitley’s track record, Amit Shah applied a 25% discount factor on these news reports and reduced the number to 250
Now Air Chief has rightly refuted both of them.”
This is apart from retweets of several comments and news reports criticising BJP.
