Directed by ad filmmaker VA Shreekumar the movie marks his directorial debut in feature films. The film has Manju Warrier and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The last time Mohanlal and Prakash Raj worked together was in 1997, for Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar.
Innocent, Siddique, Manoj Joshi, Nandhu, Narain, Kailash, Sreejaya Nair, Sana Althaf and Appani Sarath are the other actors. The film is scripted by National Award winner K Hari Krishnan and bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor.
One of the highlights of Odiyan would be the action scenes choreographed by National Award winning action director Peter Hein.
