Maruti Suzuki Zen Is Coming Back To India

If you are a 90’s kid you won’t forget Zen. Maruti Suzuki Zen, the 5-door hatchback produced and sold in India by Suzuki’s Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki in 90’s is all set to make a comeback as a compact SUV or a small crossover.

The poplar Zen launched in 1993 was the 1st Maruti car exported to international markets. When Hyundai’s Santro, Honda Civic, Mitsubishi Lancer is returning to the market, Maruti Suzuki could revive its once-popular “Zen” nameplate in India.

Earlier, Maruti Suzuki had revived the Baleno brand which is now the best-selling model in its category.

The new SUV will be Maruti Suzuki’s youngest SUV in the product portfolio. According to reports, the new crossover will be future ready with electrification option right from the word go.
