Google hires Bengaluru student at Rs 1.2 crore for AI research
Getting a job in the world’s top firms is like a dream come true for anyone. Mumbai’s Aditya Paliwal, 22-year-old got a massive offer of Rs 1.2 crore per annum pay package from Google.
Aditya finished his integrated M.Tech course in Computer Science at the International Institute of Information Technology-Bangalore (IIIT-B) recently.
He will work for their AI research wing in New York. Aditya beat 50,000 students from 111 nations of 3,098 varsities to get this mind-boggling pay from Google.
Out of those 50 who landed a job at Google’s prestigious AI Research wing, five are from India, including Aditya.
Aditya was one of the finalists of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in 2017-2018, a competition is for computer language coding enthusiasts.
Aditya is set to start his career at Google on July 18.
