Election Commission is planning to bring the ballot papers back in the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency in Telangana as 189 nominations were okayed after the scrutiny on Thursday.
The voting machine can maximum incorporate 64 candidates.
Thursday was the last day to file nomination. More than 200 farmers filed the papers in the constituency in protest against the agricultural crisis. Tamil Nadu farmers also have threatened to contest against Narendra Modi at Varanasi in a similar way. BJP is trying to pacify them.
TRS renominated Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter K Kavita from the constituency.
The decision on ballot paper will be taken soon, CEO informed.
