The Congress on Sunday officially launched the theme song for the election which give preference on ‘NYAY’ campaign.’Ab Hoga Nyay’‘.
The spin is not only on its promise of a flagship Basic Minimum Income Scheme Nyay, but also an assertion that the country is being subjected to “anyaya” or injustice under the BJP-rule.
The song for the campaign was penned by Javed Akhtar and depicts Rahul Gandhi as the new emerging Prime Minister of India,throughout the song.
While the party will use TV films, cinema spots, radio jingles, hoardings and digital screens, print advertisements and social media to get its message across, a special feature will be thousands of container trucks with Congress campaign advertisements on them.
In a series of tweets, the Congress highlighted lyrics of the song, which incorporated the party’s core promises.
Earlier the Congress manifesto emphasised on the basic needs of people ranging from minimum wage,jobs and education.
The manifesto carried the tagline “Congress will deliver” – the party said it was because the nation had to face many lies.The Congress also claims that,under Nyay, the party had promised Rs. 72,000 to the poorest of the poor families.
