The body of Ansi Alibava who was killed in the terrorist attack at Al Noor Mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, will be brought home in this week.
The family had rejected the request of the New Zealand government to perform the last rites there.

Hailing from Kodungallur in Thrissur district, Ansi moved to New Zealand with her husband Abdul Nazer PH. Settled at Christchurch, she was pursuing her masters in agribusiness management at Lincoln University. She did her schooling at Panangad GHSS, St Annes High School, Kottappuram, and Santa Maria English Medium School before joining Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology at Tavanur in Malappuram for Bachelor in Agricultural Engineering.
