Sreelakshmi G from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra is one of the four toppers of CBSE Class 10 results scoring 499 marks out of 500. Prakhar Mittal from DPS Gurgaon, Rimzhim Agarwal from RK Public school Bijnor and Nandini Garg from Scottish International School Shamli also secured 499 out of 500 marks.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the results of Class 10 examinations which saw an overall pass percentage of 86.70%. The pass percentage for Girls 88.67%. The pass percentage for boys 85.32%.
Similar to CBSE Class 12 results, Thiruvananthapuram region again topped with a pass percentage of 99.60%, followed by Chennai (97.37%), and Ajmer (91.86%). Delhi has a pass percentage of 78.62%.

The board exams were marred by controversy this year with question paper leaks being reported from Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Jharkhand of Class 10 mathematics paper, but the HRD ministry had decided against conducting a re-examination in the interest of students.
This was the first batch to appear for the Class 10 board examinations after the CBSE decided to junk the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and reintroduce the board exams.
Over 16 lakh studentshas appeared for Class 10 exams this year.
