Bijibal now gives a new dimension to keep his wife’s memories alive
Music composer Bijibal’s new music video named ‘Mayee Meenakshi’ made as a tribute to his wife Shanti, who died last year is going viral on the social media and is getting a warm response from people.
The music director’s emotional tribute for his lost love is a musical representation of ‘Meenakshi Manimaalaashtakam’, a traditional hymn in Sanskrit.
The music video composed and conceptualized by Bijibal himself in a classy approach. It has a preface which reads: “The girl who smiles forever” with a photo of Shanti.
Soumya Ramakrishnan sings the song in the video and Prashant Raveendran did the cinematography. Bijibal posted a poetic note on the poster of the music video putting his thoughts about his late wife, in words.
Santhi Mohandas who was a professional dancer died last year following a brain haemorrhage. She had choreographed a classical dance for ‘Sakaladeva nuthe’ – an original Sanskrit composition on Goddess Saraswathi.
Ever since her demise, the music director has taken to social media to uploaded various videos and photos of his wife in his account. The couple were married for 15 years and have two children Daya, 8 and Devdhath, 13.
