Eid might be far but the teaser of Bharat is already here. And from the teaser, it looks like Salman will be back in his element and the film might give fans a relief after Race 3. Salman Khan has also teamed up with Ali Abbas Zafar once again and we know how ‘paisa vasool’ this combination is.
The teaser starts with the visuals of an overcrowded train at a railway station in Pakistan alluding to the heart-wrenching pictures from the Partition of India, which we have seen growing up. In the voice-over, Salman Khan says that he was named Bharat, after his country, by his father. Therefore, he doesn’t give importance to questions about his cast, creed and religion.
Salman Khan took to twitter to share the teaser with fans.

The filmmakers describe Bharat as the “journey of a man and a nation together.” Therefore, Salman Khan will sport several different looks of varying age groups. We got a glimpse of at least three in the teaser.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi, Tabu, Jackie Shroff and Aasif Sheikh in pivotal roles. The film is based on Korean war drama An Ode To My Father, the rights of which were bought by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
Comedian and TV actor Sunil Grover also plays an important role in the movie that is set during the Independence era.
Bharat is slated for Eid 2019 release.
