Mumbai is facing another fire broke out just after the one at ESIC Kamgar hospital at Marol in suburban Andheri one week prior,which wiped five lives.
This time,seven got killed and which was declared as level three, broke out at 14th floor,Sargam society at Chembur on Thursday.
Elder people lost life by the fire which broke out from the 16 storey building,earlier four people got admitted in the nearby Rajawadi Hospital and two among them declared brought dead. A fireman also got injured by the high flames.
The reason for the fire is yet to know,henceforth,an LPG cylinder blast reportedly increased the severity of the fire.Damaged fire fighting equipment of the building let the flames to engulf more areas.
The deceased were found to be,Sunita Joshi, 72, Bhalchandra Joshi, 72 and Suman Shrinivas Joshi, 83, Sarala Suresh Gangar, 52 and Laxmiben Premji Gangar, 83.
The fire has been brought under control, but its cause will be known only after an inquiry, an official told PTI.
