4 thrash man to death for ‘harassing’ their sister
A 32-year-old man was thrashed to death by four brothers when their sister complained of being harassed by him on a regular basis. Three of them were arrested.
The incident occurred in outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala on Tuesday. Police said the incident came to light when neighbours heard the victim, Shailender, crying for help. They alerted the police after which a team was spent to the spot. Shailender was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. Meanwhile, all the assailants had fled the scene.
Shailender was the brother-in-law of one of his killers. Additional DCP (outer) Rajender Singh Sagar said a team led by SHO Kanjhawala Nageen Kaushik was formed to crack the case and track the accused men. They were identified as Raju (32), Suresh (27), Hemraj (26) and Ravi (22).
